July 8, 2012 - Edmonton Triathlon (AG National Championships)

8th F35-39 (Qualified for 2013 National AG World Championship Team)

AG transition two days before the race.  I met Garry Ogletree (an Edmonton colleague) for a bike course preview. We did two laps of the course. Garry provided excellent traffic control.

June 17, 2012 - Subaru Victoria Triathlon (Olympic)

12th Female OA, 3rd F35-39

My result would have been better if I hadn't swam off course! I was satisfied with my bike and run, although my foot really hurt and I noticed my run fitness was already slipping.

May 27, 2012 - Subaru Shawnigan Lake Triathlon (Olympic)

7th Female OA, 2nd F35-39

A week and a half after getting my stitches out, I raced at Shawnigan Lake on Vancouver Island.  I think I am proudest of this race. I really made myself hurt.

I didn't get any pictures of this race and didn't stick around long enough to receive my medal.

We enjoyed a long weekend in Victoria though:

May 6, 2012 - Kamloops Spring Sprint

1st Female OA, 1st F35-39

 A good result but not the best race. I'm not a fan of pool swims and I felt like the intensity wasn't fully there. However, I proved I am pretty tough by running the 5k with a lacerated foot. The cut took 6 stitches at Kamloops General Hospital.
